I played a previous work of mine through my living room speakers, while simultaneously playing the same previous work on youtube through my laptop speakers at max volume, then played the same thing on bandcamp at the same time, then added in a different work on soundcloud. So I had three different versions of the same work playing all at the same time, one through the living room speakers, two through the laptop speakers, as well as a fourth recording added in at the end. While playing all of these, I had a few minutes where I rapidly alternated the volume of my laptop and also the living room speakers to mix things up. I recorded this whole session with my cell phone, taking it around different areas of the room to get different volume levels and pannings and stuff. Finally when the recording was complete I imported it into Audacity and did a bunch of stuff with it with effect filters, speed changes, overdubs, etc. The first track is the unedited version, the second track is the remix.
